Federal flood insurance measure getting traction in Washington
The Wall Street Journal reports that federal lawmakers appear ready to move ahead with an overhaul of the National Flood Insurance Program, which provides insurance to homeowners in flood-prone areas. Approval would keep the program running for the next five years.
