FANTUZ SITS OUT

Receiver Andy Fantuz of Chatham didn't practise Friday with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats after suffering a lower-body injury at Thursday's practice.

His status for Sunday's home opener is up in the air.

Simon Charbonneau-Campeau ?would be the next guy up? and is expected to replace Fantuz if he can't play, head coach Kent Austin said in the Toronto Sun.

?We don't make excuses for injuries,? Austin said. ?Everybody sustains them.?

Fantuz made 10 catches for 155 yards and a touchdown last week in a season-opening loss to the Toronto Argonauts.

The Ticats host the Edmonton Eskimos on Sunday (5 p.m., TSN).
